When the Estates of Kings Newnham and Church Lawford were put up for auction in 1918 there were two distinct lots relating to smallholdings (Lots 11 (The Lodge) and 14 (The 5 acre site next to the Laurels rented by the Farmer Family) in the Kings Newnham Sale. Additionally there were farm buildings for Highfields Farm linked to Highfields house. Fennis Fields farm and Bath Farm at that time were part of the Laurels Farm holding.
