Following the 1918 sale there were still a number of properties that were not sold, so remained with Samuel Waring, other properties were bought by investors, and some were sold on for other reasons.

Some of the properties that changed hands between the two World Wars are summarised below.

In 1921 there were around 140 acres of “grassland” put up for sale in Kings Newnham (along with a similar amount in Little Lawford) – this might have related to part of the previous sale lots, but more information is sought.

In 1925 there was a further auction of the properties that were part of the Newnham Hall sale, following the death of John Brierly.

In 1938 various properties that were acquired by the Boughton-Leigh Estate were auctioned off. The cottages in Church Lawford referred to were already subject to clearance orders. Cottages 188 and 189 in School Street were occupied by W J Riley and E Gibbs at the time, and were bought by Alf Day. Cottages 180 and 181 were rented cottages let to C Chalmers and A Billingham respectively, and were bought by John Cummins.

The Rugby Advertiser reported on the sale on 16th September 1938.
