Please feel free to offer further names, or correct any assumptions / dates – see here for contact details.
A. Posed Class Photographs From Around 1959.
The following three photographs were taken in front of the shed / storage area at the old school, and appear to show the three classes at the time, so there will be two or three age groups per picture.
A.1 Infants Group (1959)

A.2 Middle Class Group (1959)

A.3 Senior Group (1959)

B. Athletic Team Groups From Around 1959
The following pictures were taken at the old school around 1959 on the occasion of an athletics event organised for schools in the Rugby Area.

The children here were the athletes chosen to compete in Rugby & District Sports for primary schools probably in 1958 or 1959.
C. Posed Sports Team Groups From Around 1959
The following pictures seem to assemble sports teams for a posed picture in front of the old school shed around 1959
C.1 Netball Team

C.2 Cricket Team

D. Football Team Pictures

E. Old School Interior Pictures
The following pictures are not posed, so reflect classroom life in the late 1950s

F. Exterior Photos
These pictures were also probably taken between the late 1950s and when the Old School closed in 1964. Some of the pictures show the nearby housing, which helps to date them. The group of 4 old cottages that stood next to the school were condemned in 1957 and were not recorded in the 1959 Village Directory – this can be seen in the first picture. They were replaced by 5 and 7 School Street as recorded in the 1960 Directory (based on information compiled in 1959 or earlier) – these brick built house can be seen in the last three of these pictures.

G. School Outing
This photo will also be of the late 50s / early 60s vintage. It is assumed to be a school trip to London.
