The Village Archive has been compiled using resources far and wide – as detailed here.

However, there is still a need for additional information, much of which can be seen by browsing the archive.

Any offers to provide additional written inputs, facts, memories, pictures etc are always welcome.

In addition the list below highlights some “nagging” omissions which might come to light. Some of them seem rather unimportant, but they can hold specific memories of the time.

  1. Views of Kings Newnham Road. There are surprisingly few “old views” of Kings Newnham Road, as it didn’t feature in the early 20th century postcards which are such a valuable source of old photographs.
  2. A view of the Airey Houses – nothing has been found for the now-lost houses in King’s Newnham Road.
  3. Views of the Village Shop when located in King’s Newnham Road.
  4. Views of King’s Newnham, especially those not covered in other photographs – e.g. outlying farms, old cottages, lime workings
  5. Views of Old Cottages, especially on the farms
  6. View of old farms – especially those no longer operational
  7. Views of old farm machinery – especially whilst working local fields
  8. Pictures of the Old Dark Green Tin Bus Shelter (Rugby Direction).
  9. Old Signposts – such as the fingerposts near Newnham Hall, or near the Triangle Garage.
  10. Old Water Pumps
  11. Old Stiles or other Footpath related items
  12. Pre-modernisation views of Village Houses
  13. Views of Village Events – e.g. may parades, christmas decorations, village fetes, the airport protests etc

These are in addition to possible additional contents to be added to Villager Tributes – as detailed here.

Where necessary photos will be kept offline where there are security or privacy concerns.

Other suggestions for missing items would be much welcomed.

Please use the contact information if you can help in any way.
