The Golden Jubilee celebration to mark 50 years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II was held on the 4th June 2002 in the United Kingdom. The actual jubilee day was 6th February 2002, as the accession of the Queen was on 6th February 1952, but the commemoration was held over to summer months.
