The history and local recollections about School Lane / School Street will be added here. The following pictures are from various eras following the road from top to bottom – the first two show the Triangle Garage (with School Street starting on the right fork, and the view looking in the opposite direction down that fork, from School Street past “The Cottage” into Rugby Road and across to the old village shop.

The block of four cottages, seen on the left in the preceding three postcards were condemned in 1957.
