In the early 1980s the Church Lawford and Kings Newnham Women’s Institute conducted two surveys at St Peters, and produced detailed reports in both cases.
These reports are now lodged at the Warwick Records Centre for visitors there to view.
One survey was of the “old” memorials and memorial stones, both inside and outside the church. This focussed on those older than 1950, and a sample can be seen here.
The second survey was of the flora in the churchyard, and a detailed report, complete with drawings of many of the specimens found was made. The title page and a few sample pages are shown here.
