The link from each farm name has a brief history and further information plus a photo from 1918 where appropriate. In the 1918 sale catalogue there were also smallholdings in both villages (Lots 24, 30 and 43 in the Church Lawford sale, Lots 11 and 14 in the King’s Newnham Sale), as well as Lot 5 near Bretford (modern Willow Farm area) the history of which will be detailed further. Newnham Grounds was part of Newnham Hall Farm by 1918, but had been a separate farm in the 19th Century.

Both Fennis Fields Farm and Bath Farm were seen as part of Laurels Farm (Lot 8) in the Newnham Regis parish. Similarly Highfields Farm was in King’s Newnham linked to Highfields House in the Village (Lot 7), and has since been merged elsewhere. Details of these will be added once clearer information has been located.
